Hi, Everyone,
      I am in the process of trying to develop a postpartum followup care
program for our early discharges.   We plan on seeing all vag deliveries who
are d/c before 48 hrs and all
c/s who are d/c prior to 72 hrs.  We will be seeing both mom and baby as well
as breast
& bottle feeders.  Anyone out there have experience or input  that will help
me get this program on its feet.  I need policies, protocols, potential
charges ect.  I think this will be a wonderful way to get our early d/c
breastfeeding mothers off to a better start as well as making sure we have a
healthier, happier family.  Please feel free to send me all suggestions,
comments ect. as we are developing this from thin air and can use all the
