I have been nomail, so pardon me if this has been mentioned. IBLCE has a
valuable survey on their pages, http://www.iblce.org/survey1.php. It
asks IBCLCs to discuss their feelings on recertification, and on
specialized advanced clinical status, and recert for that pathway. It
also asks what IBCLCs think about  creating a credential that is not
IBCLC, akin to Lactation counselor, etc.

I feel that this is a very important and valuable questionairre. Make
your thoughts known to your professional organization.
