Rachel thanks for doing that research.
I happen to know that Dr/Prof Karen Simmer in WA (that's Western
Australia!) is doing research on a fortifier based on human
milk.  Hopefully her research will continue rapidly and provide these tiny
babies with a more physiologic substitute.
Pam Morrison, ex-Zimbabwe, often posts on this topic.  They don't have the
'luxury' of any fortifiers for their preterm babies, and she writes quite
passionately about the value of exclusive breastmilk and the excellent
outcomes they have.  We certainly have the control groups all over the
world to compare the fortified groups to - I wonder if anyone is doing that?
