Waterbeds and breastfeeding:
Some mattresses are full motion and should probably not be used with babies.
Some waterbed mattresses are 80% or more motionless. Many look and feel
similar to a "regual" mattress.

I have had a waterbed for over 19 years. I have successfully nursed 2
children in my 85% motionless bed. I used a harder foam pillow behind my back
and the baby's back to keep us from falling over. My husband would help us
switch sides in the middle of the night by moving the pillows.

All three of my nephews (2 different families) and at least 3 friends have
also nursed in waterbeds.
