I noted recently someone suggesting using antihistamine/decongestants in
treatment of otitis media (ear infections). Although there are always
exceptions to the rule,  current wisdom in pediatrics and most current studies
show that antihistamines/decong. actually do more harm than good and they are
no longer recommended for therapy of most otitis.
