Hi all,
I have an 8 month old that I have been working with off and on since birth .
This baby just recently had heart surgery to repair Tetralogy of Fallot and
restricting vascular band around the esophagus as well as now being on
Vancomycin for an infection.  The baby is also being tested for possible
genetic abnormalities  To say the least this baby is failure to thrive and
this mother has struggled with milk supply from the beginning. This baby was
never a good nurser and for several months now refuses the breast.  This
mother has tried everything to get this baby back to the breast and to
increase her milk supply, except Domperidone.  I am in the process of
providing  this mother the information on obtaining Domperidone, but was
wondering if this medication could cause "this" baby any problems?
A tough  and heart breaking case to work with.
