hello.  I have been meaning to subscribe to lactnet for some time now
(months and months), but just finished moving across the country, and
feeling somewaht settled in, finally - i am just getting around to it!

My name is Lyla and I am a LLL Leader applicant, and an aspiring IBCLC.  I
already am asked for a great deal of advice re: breastfeeding issues, by
friends, other mothers i meeet in playgroups, etc., and online.  I am not
interested in spreading misinformation AT ALL - so, although I consider
myself fairly well-informed on the subject - since i am not certified or
accredited yet, i try very hard to only answer questions i KNOW the answers
to.  that s why i am on this list:  to get answers to more difficult
questions - and to learn and grow myself in the lactation counseling field.

i hope it is appropriate for me to be on this list - i know i can learn a
lot from you all.

I already have two questions, from two different moms - which i will post
shortly.  thanks in advance for your help.
