I posted last week and got a few responses to my inquiry. This week the
project was approved and I'd like to get some input from those of you
who have worked with OB residents. I'd like to develop a self learning
module to supplement the one on one time we are spending together. The
AAP recommendations are good, but they pretty much address the baby and
the postpartum period. A search of the ACOG website yielded a little
bit, but not that much related to obstetrics and breastfeeding
education. I do have some information from Dr. Newton's sessions at the
LLLI Physicians Seminars a few years ago and his Breastfeeding Abstracts
articles. I also have the Wellstart materials from the Lactation
Education Curriculum. Would any of you offer any other advice or ideas?
