My SIL works with a guy who has been in the US for 10 years, but is
originally from a mountainous and remote area of Mexico. Last time she
worked she put her milk in a refrigerator and this guy was really excited
that she was doing that. He then started telling about a time he got bit
(stung? the only one I have seen is in our Zoo, they are not too common in
Western Oregon!) For 5 days he suffered and felt he was going to die, then
they got some breastmilk from a lactating woman. He drank it (I don't know
how much for how long) and it cured him! I love hearing stories of how BM
is used for home remedies!
