It sounds like this mom has a trapped nerve. Can she remember injuring her
upper back or neck about the time this started? The migranes should be a real
tip off to the MD. Was there a car accident, a fall or something that could
have caused compression?  The nerves that *feed*the breast arise out of the
veterbral column.  I have seen this problem with a breast cancer survivor who
had  nerve intrapment that came from radiation scar tissue. One other mom had
the same problem after her toddler jumped on her upper back.
