This is a baby who would not survive intact if not fed this
phenylalanine free concoction.  She will be using sugars and fats as her
main energy sources all her life.  Fruit is one of the few things that
people with PKU can eat without restriction.  Sometimes the unnatural
way is the best for babies who would not survive or would be severely
impaired if left up to 'nature'.
