I heard somewhere that one should avoid aspertame (Nutra Sweet) when
fighting yeast infections. I have been telling mothers that, but I've been
challenged and I can't find my source.

If one should avoid it, why? I do find that it causes intestinal cramping
in babies whose mothers use it so I discourage it, but does it have
anything to do with yeast overgrowth?,
