Debbie, Diane et al,

I loved the response from Debbie Albert.  I had a beautiful & adorable
little granddaughter first; I talked to everyone about how special she was
and how much I loved her.  When my DD became pregnant a second time we found
that it was a boy (the 1st was a surprise) and every friend and co-worker I
had kept saying "How are you going to handle having a "bubba" now?

Quite frankly I didn't know; then just like Debbie's mom said another room
opened in my hotel/heart and he is now the sweetest, most wonderful young
man. Unfortunately they are growing up; he's 14 and she is nearly 17!!!!!
How can they possibly grow that fast?

This reminded me of when I was pregnant with my second child.  I told my mom
that I had no idea how I could possibly love a baby more than my first
child.  I have reiterated her response to many a second time mom since.  My
mom had five children, and she replied, "Debbie, your heart is like a hotel,
it has many rooms!"
