Just returned from six days of teaching to a week's worth of messages.  I
wanted to respond to the question of whether anyone else is developing an LC
major.  Last year, Breastfeeding Support Consultants became accredited and
approved for college credit recommendations for its five courses.  They are
recommendations that the student would take to his or her own college to be
integrated with their major at that college.  Credit recommendations range
from 3 to 15 at the graduate level.  (An application is also in process for
approval for the use of GI Bill benefits.)
