If I were to write to him, I would express my extreme
confusion at his choice.  I hope I wouldnt' attack
him, since we know that is ineffective, but rather
convey to him my sense of betrayal.  I'm reading "THe
Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" 6th ed. (for the first
time) and am struck with how frequently he is cited.

anyway....

Apparently he is currently referring his patients to
his website now when they call after hours.  Sure, a
lot of basic questions could be answered by his site,
but if you were a worried parent at 2 AM, is that what
you'd want to hear while you were waiting to page him?
 Presumably you hired him as a pedy because you trust
him.
