Hi all. I'd like to suggest that if you have questions about your
subscription, or about changing email addresses, or about any aspect of
working the listserv software that runs Lactnet (and other listserv
groups)..that you send a command to:

[log in to unmask]

that reads

Get Lactnet Welcome

This will get you the entire Lactnet welcome note that details all of the
commands. If you read this, you will learn something new, always nice, and
you will save us some work...if each of you sends us one request per year,
that adds up to 3000 subscriber work requests per year, almost, or 8-9 per
day every day of the year.

Thanks for taking the time to learn the basic workings of listserv. We do
appreciate it...although we don't mind helping you if you just cannot
figure it out *after* reading that message.

Here are some key commands:

*****Key Lactnet Commands to: [log in to unmask]******

To Subscribe to Lactnet SUB LACTNET <your_real_name>
To Unsubscribe Lactnet SIGNOFF LACTNET or UNSUB LACTNET
To Stop List Mail Temporarily SET LACTNET NOMAIL
To Restart Mail SET LACTNET MAIL

To Receive A Copy Of Your Mail SET LACTNET REPRO
To See Your Distribution Options QUERY LACTNET
To Get A Listing Of All The Commands HELP
To Get A List Of All Subscribers Review Lactnet by name
To get another copy of the Welcome msg Get Lactnet Welcome
To Search the Archives by e-mail search * in LACTNET

you may wish to print this out and tape to your computer. And, if you are
going to be away from work or from your computer for the holidays, please
remember to go nomail.

Thanks! Kathleen
