Your suggestions sound good. I did have one Mom with simlar presentation
although nipples weren't really bleeding but we felt comfortable that all
avenues had been explored including APNO (all purpose nipple ointment). Have
you tried it? If not would try with 24hrs of pumping only then reassess.
At any rate, my Mom eventually did stop nursing, pumped and bottle fed
without trauma. Sad, but I couldn't blaim her.
