3-5 mls of tincture 3 times daily is a reasonable dosage. If she is using capsules 1500 mg divided into 3 doses daily usually works well. 

If she needs to rebuild blood and supply, dandelion is also good for this. tinctue dose is 3ml 3x daily or tincture, 3ml 3x daily. 

Hope she does well.
