I know at our hospital they provide candy every time they visit. They also provide the nurses with any new 'bags' they come out with. I have seen them advertise some classes on infant feeding. Not only for the nurses but for the doctors as well and they did bring food.
(Of course i have never been to any of these classes or taken any of their 'free' offerings. I have also been known to spit out a peice of candy that i thought was brought in from a staff member until one of the nurses told me where it came from)
