Someone suggested BFG (breastfeeding grief/grieving) for the name of a
support group. Many people mayl think it's a group focusing on Roald Dahl's
book, BFG (Big Friendly Giant).

I suspect that there are many issues for which new mothers feel grief,
guilt, regret, angst, sadness, anger, etc., from not having the birth they
planned, to not having the baby they planned, to not having the
breastfeeding experience they planned. It would nice to have a support
group to help moms understand why things happened the way they did, to
acknowledge their rights to their feelings about what happened, and to
educate them so that things might go more as planned next time. Whether
that means vaginal rather than C-section delivery, premature rather than
full-term baby, baby with a handicapping condition, "only" breastfeeding for
four months or "only" breastfeeding for four years, and so on. Certainly we
all need friends and support and a safe place to talk about whatever didn't
go the way we had hoped, and how we are coping with it.

How about "Mama Tigers" for TGIR, Turning Guilt Into Regret.
