One of my moms with recurring mastitis found that starting 800 mg. of
ibuprofen with the first symptoms could prevent a full-blown mastitis
probably related to the anti-inflammatory properties. Also, if this
mom has been on repeated courses of antibiotics you might want to
consider yeast that would need to be treated systemically.
