My two children (David - 11 yrs. old, and Billy - 7 yrs. old) came up with
the following version of "The Three Little Kittens":

"The five little kittens.  They lost their ninny. And they began to cry.
Oh mother dear. See here. See here.  For we have lost our ninny.
You silly kittens!  Here's your ninny. Now you shall go to sleep.
Meow. Meow. Meow. Mow."

History:  They have two cats who gave birth to their first litters 5 weeks
ago (one 2 kitties, the other 3 kitties, born 5 days apart). The mothers
nurse all the babies interchangeably.  Sometimes a kitty would lose the
ninny when they were younger...pretty neat kids (and kitties), huh???
