Hi all! I cannot verify this, but I was told by a very health/safety
conscious friend that the newest treatment for stings was BAN roll-on
deoderant/anti-persperant. (I was told to use BAN, specifically, but don't
know why.) Something in it is supposed to be extremely soothing to bee
stings and I was told to put one in my first-aid kit. I dutifully bought
one but have luckily had no occasion to use it. Would rinsing off prior to
nursing and then reapplied after the nursing be safe? This mom might have
very little to lose by trying it, assuming the Wise Ones feel it is safe
enough (Drs. Hale and Newman?)
