The 7/23/00 NY Times Sun. Magazine had an article on French food (Part
I).  The author (Jonathan Reynolds?) started out the article with the
following:

"After mother's milk, the three great cuisines are French..."

What a lovely thing to say! :-)  Guess I always knew I could produce the
greatest cuisine in the world.
