No, Assunta, you are not the only one who took offense.  Unfortunately, the
hospitals in my city also feel this way and do without appropriate coverage
rather than hire non-RN IBCLCs.  A real shame, isn't it?

I teach childbirth classes at a local hospital, but the same one will not even
consider me as a teacher for their breastfeeding classes or their LC work.
The other hospital even makes the RN stipulation for their childbirth
educators!
