Chicken hair is hair that sticks out all over. There are some who feel that
it is related to allergies in the infant. We've had some lively discussions
of it. Not everyone agrees, but it has us thinking...and looking.
On Monday I will see the baby who had "chicken hair" last week, and who also
had symptoms of dairy intolerance. His mother has been off dairy for 5
days, his congestion is gone, and he has few fussy periods and is feeding
more calmly. I'll check out his hair on Monday.
I didn't say anything to her about the hair, for obvious reasons!
