If any one out there is familiar with any of the following products and
there safety for use during lactation please let me know. I have a mother
who has used these in the past and wants to resume use if safe. She does
weight training about 30 minutes a day and runs or power walks 45 minutes a
day. She also has severe migraines for which she is going to resume use of
meds already discussed in the last few weeks ( one is antidepressent that
she will take once a day and the other will be used prn, sorry I can't
remember the names but they are the usual ones used.) I don't know if
these meds will impact the use of the dietary supplements which are Myoplex
lite( main ingrediant is Prolean II), Phen-free which contains L-Tyrosine,
Cordyceps, Citrus aurantium, St. John's Wort, Yohimbe, Caffeine, and
Cayenne pepper powder, the last one is Betagen which containsHMB and
Phosphagen( creatine Monohydrate). The last one states on the can do not
use if pregnant or lactating. It causes one to retain water which is
supposed to allow the body to burn more fat during a workout. i'm out of
my league here. Any thoughts would be helpful. I wonder about taking
something that contains St. John's wort when on antidepressants.
