Cindy,
It's great to hear your hospital is 100% in compliance being
breastfeeding baby friendly and the whole staff is BF knowledgeable.
What about the millions of women exposed to daily misinformation in
North American hospitals.
We should be writing letters commending this catalog for their advice to
ensure the new corporate owners continues to include LLL information.
.
Even in a state like NY which has laws specifying appointment of a
"lactation specialist" in maternity / postpartum departments some
hospitals in New York City choose not to be in compliance. Or worse
they appoint staff nurses without certification or accurate lactation
knowledge and management skills.
