Subject: An unusual practice?

Dear Friends,

An expectant mother called me tonight to ask if we ever use a puppy to bring in the milk supply. Her mother was from Morocco and for each of her new babies, (that were born there), a live, aggressive puppy was put to her breast and her milk came in quickly. Well, OK I can see how this might work but what about a live, aggressive baby that was not sedated from labour and delivery - that might work too!

Any one heard of this practice? It was a first for me!!
