I have so much trouble with the circ'd boys. Our circ rate must be higher
than 95%, since I've rarely known parents not to circ.

I have been counting hours between birth and circumcision and often find
under 12 hours (7 hours from birth to circ not uncommon, and not the
shortest, either).

Even waiting until day 2 doesn't help, because frequently the baby has
received so much formula by my first visit in the a.m. of day 1, that it
takes most of the day for the baby to wake up and get some good nursings
in, and then he spends the night before day 2 in the nursery (usually)
(getting bottles, usually), and is fasted before he's circ'd, in either
case, and then he's circ'd and there we are again, back to sleep.

(I know you will identify several problems I am dealing with besides
circumcisions in the above paragraph.)

It's not a soapbox to complain about the circ problem. It's just saying
what needs to be said, so we can do something to address the problem.
