Dear LactNetters,
I am sharing this with Kathleen Bruce' permission. I have figured out
something about those extra characters that show up in some of the posts. I
use AOL, and I don't know if this applies to all ISPs or just AOL. I've
realized that when I copy part of someone else's post and paste it into mine, such
as when I want to reply to something they've said, that's when my reply shows
up a mess with extra characters and line spacing that I didn't put in. These
extra characters and lines don't show up on my screen. Instead, the mess gets
there when it posts to LactNet. So there is no way I can edit them out
before I send my message.
I have determined that if I retype or paraphrase what the other person
said, rather than cutting and pasting, I don't get all the extra characters
which make my message so difficult to read.
I thought this might help some of you, too.
