Hi All,

I have a subscription to a new Dutch Lactational Digest called Bv-profs.
Someone asked to please post a question to Lactnet on the following
subject......

It is preferred *not* to heat human milk in a microwave-oven because the
amino-acids will be destroyed by it. When this is the case... what happens
to the amino-acids in formula when it's heated this way????

Any input is much appreciated, and once again THANKS IN ADVANCE !

Please give me permission to translate your answers and post them to the
Bv-profs (breastfeeding pro's) list.

Renate Rietveld, IBCLC.
