I have read of this being caused by low magnesium levels, but I can't
remember the source.  As I recall, it was treated with magnesium sulfate
(epsom salt) solution.  Obviously, if administered orally, a low dosage would
have to be used to avoid laxative action.

Sorry I can't remember more of it.
