Lichen sclerosis is a collagen disorder, where there are well defined,
atrophic changes, usually starting near the clitoris and labia minora, and
lesions may extend backwards to the perianal region. Plaques may be found on
the thighs or other parts of the body. Itching is the main symptom.
The changes usually respond to potent corticosteroids (eg Dipsrosone OV:
stronger and more expensive than the normal Diprosone). Has she tried this
on the nipple?
