I want to thank those few who have contributed answers to my questions by
email. I will be going LACTNET NO MAIL for a while as I concentrate on
organizing information for my fall presentations.

Regarding Carol's recited post: << brain develoment questions...Severe
malnutrition in the first year of life, even if corrected later, is
associated with intelligence deficiencies at age 11 to 18 years." Has anyone
seen any literature cooraborating this statement? >> The literature is
gaining momentum in supporting the lifelong results of fetal and early infant
events and exposures as having lifelong effects. Answers lie in the far
corners of the lit.

AS I POSTED LAST WEEK ...hydrocortisone fetal exposure reportedly can
selectively make high palates and cleft palates in animals. It also makes
TIMID and MEEK meek baby animals. Doesn't that just make you wonder about
your own timid and meek children as to MOM's conditions which increased
cortisones in utero?

So......how about all those timid and meek infant humans......what else does
FETAL STRESS, etc do????????

Take Care,
David C. Page, DDS
