I have been reading the letters about the campaign to eliminate ALL
breastpumps on ebay with great frustration! I do not support this and I urge
you to reconsider. While I understand the concern about people buying used
breastpumps, I would hate to see ebay not allow any breastpumps! I know I am
not alone in disagreeing with this campaign. As someone who has collected
breastpumps for 17 years as a hobby, it has been a wonderful source for me.
Prior to ebay they were difficult for me to find. Also, as a private
practice lactation consultant, I am delighted to be able to purchase used
hospital-grade pumps (Lactinas/Classics/ etc.) I know other LCs who do the
same. There is certainly no reason that these pumps should not be sold on
ebay!
