I'd argue that putting them out of business would be a desirable 
result.  Either they'd change their practise to support Code before they 
were faced with losing their business, or other companies would move 
into the gap with just as good pumps, but with ethical promotion.

Free market, and all that.  :-)  They're not a protected species - 
they're a commercial interest!
