Jo Ann asked:
Has length and head circumference increased proportionately?
Mom didn't mention head circumference but height 1 mo. ago was 26 in.
Plotted out on the weight for height CDC chart, she is appropriate.
Actually she is in the 25th percentile for weight for height, if I'm reading
it right!

Kathy asked:
Wouldn't a creamatocrit level vary depending on when the sample was drawn,
ie, hindmilk vs foremilk, etc???
Yes, it does vary. Dr. Lawrence's directions were to collect a 24 hr.
sample and use a specimen from that. There is some benefit in knowing this,
if only for what it means to the ped. She originally told mom that her milk
had as much fat as formula, so she wasn't going to intervene. Until, that
is, she conferred with her colleague! Kermaline sent some info on using
hind milk to facilitate growth, so I'm getting info on that.

Leslie, thanks for the personal story. I will share it with mom. She needs
to know she's not alone.
