Hello,

I have the Elite.  It is a great pump.  The problem is that  most  
hospitals here have a contract with Medela.  A mom who needs to  
continue with a hospital grade pump will be sent home with the Medela  
collection kit.  This of course, will not work on the Ameda, so the  
moms will have the added expense of purchasing a collection kit, plus  
the rental, so most prefer to go with the Medela rental.  I cannot  
blame them for this.
