According to the American Herbal Products Association which has just released
some guidelines on this very thing rates Kava Kava (I'm assuming they are one
and the same, right?) as 2 B, C, D -- which means it is contraindicated in
pregnancy (B), Lactation (C) and has general contraindications for other
things (D).
