Still slogging my way thru the LLLI CBI collection of articles.  We now have over 9000 articles databased and scanned - don't ask - no copyright license at this time - but I have an interesting tidbit/revelation.

One comment I saw was as societies became more affluent thru out the ages, wet nursing became the thing for upper class people.  This made me realize what the "wet nurse" was/is for the 20th -21st centuries - it is the bottle!
