In the UK, there is a commonly diagnosed condition called, simply,  toddler
diarrhoea. It happens in bf and non bf toddlers. Mothers are reassured that
it's just a very active lower intestine, due to gut immaturity,  which is
regarded as having no significance at all in an otherwise healthy child.
That is of course the key - if the kid is growing and happy and eating and
drinking normally, what on earth is the problem?

(Speaking from experience here - middle child couldn't go anywhere without
a change of trousers after the age of six months until toilet training.  No
nappy known to mankind could have contained his liquid explosions.)
