Can anyone refer me to an article that supports the benefits of breastmilk vs formula.  I am seeing the use of formula on our unit due to the benefits of better head circumference and growth.  The mom's have plenty of milk but are being told the formula is needed for proper growth.  Sometimes we are adding the formula to Mom's EBM and feeding every other feed with either the fortified EBM or the formula.

I would appreciate any resource you can advise.
