Dear Morgan,

You may want to use these excellent resources:

Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine
Protocol #8
Human Milk Storage Information
www.bfmed.org

The Human Milk Banking Association of North America's publication
"2006 Best Practice for Expressing, Storing and Handling of Mother's Own Milk
in Hospital and at Home"
http://www.hmbana.org/index.php?mode=pubs

Best wishes,

Katy

Subject: Help - Medical guidelines on storing EBM

I need two or three 'official' guidelines on the storage, transportation and
use of EBM. Preferably as part of a hospital policy that can be downloaded
and printed off. With temperatures, storage times etc, all mentioned.

Something so obviously 'professional' that it cannot be junked by the
healthcare people at the detention centre I'm visiting tomorrow.

Thanks in advance...

Morgan
