To Helen Ross McGill -
Have you done any research on using breastmilk as medicine for ear
infections, eye infections, etc? I think this would be a wonderful topic to
research and I would love to hear about the results. My 4-year old got an
ear infection yesterday. The peds dept head was the doc on call so he saw
the ear and prescribed an antibiotic. I talked to a friend of mine about
borrowing a little of her breastmilk a few times this week to use, just to
see what happens. I am well aware that this a tricky situation, so I'm going
to be very careful. But anyone out there looking for a research topic, I
think this would be a great one.
