I know I have asked this, and someone answered me, but it is lost somewhere
in my comptuter....so...Can someone please tell me what is the ideal levels of
TSH, T3 and T4 and free T4 in a mom breastfeeding. Mom is diagnosed
hypothyroid, on Snthroid, 1 microgram, and her milk supply has suddenly dropped.
Her TSH levels have gone from 3.368 when the baby was a couple of weeks old to
a TSH level of 0.92 now. Pre/post weight shows a transfer of only 6 ml.
Baby was gaining well in the first 4 months, but is now, of course, not. Mom's
doctor will adjust meds as needed, and mom is getting new values asap, just
need to know what she is looking for them to be, and the references to share
with her hcp to know why.

Thanks,
Pam MazzellaDiBosco, IBCLC
