I have known of a woman with implants to have intermittent nipple
hypersensitivity and nipple numbness and she had some partial nipple
blanching not related to a feeding.
This mother's pain could be just from the nerve damage. Maybe she's having
some vasoconstriction and warm compresses before feedings/pumping may help.
Just an idea.
