I recently attended a derm teleconference. One of the meds discussed was
Spectazole(generic topical econazole i think) The pharmaceutical rep said
that it has antibacterial properties and was going to get FDA approval to
treat bacterial infections, and the dermatoligist said that it has
anti-inflamatory properities. It is usually used once a day. It seems like it
would make a good topical cream for mild to moderate nipple yeast, but does
anyone have experience using it. I usually use nystatin.
