Hi Naomi:
My article in Birth Issues 1997;6(1):24-29 can be ordered online from www.capersbookstore.com.au
My 1993 article (under a previoous surname, Phillips) appeared in the Feb 1993 issue of the Journal of Tropical Pediatrics, which you should be able to find in a good medical library, or get them to order by interlibrary loan. It is titled "Relactation in mothers of children over 12 months". All the cases involved caucasian Australians, and relactation occurred irrespective of motivation, or no motivation. Don't forget to look for that under "Phillips V".
As you will realise, at this stage I don't have copies of either article.
If you want to reply, please do so off list as I am usually "no mail".

I am looking for the references for two articles by Virginia Thorley:
1. Birth Issues, 1997: 6(1) 24-29 Relactation and induced lactation:
what the exceptions tell us.
Is that the full name of the journal? I'm having trouble tracking
down the article.

2. An article Virginia published in 1993 related to this topic. It is
referred to in the abstract for the article above, but I don't know any more
about it because the abstract I have doesn't actually have the footnotes,
just the text of the abstract.

I know this isn't a lot to go on. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
  Naomi Bar-Yam
