I really don't care what we call each other as long as we are nice to each
other. It is so refreshing to be on a list where we all treat one another
with respect. I think respect comes from how we treat one another, relate
to one another. I appreciate the collegiality in our discussions amongst
all of us who give a damn about moms and babies. I work in a setting where
perinatal care is low man on the totem pole compared to the surgery gods
and internists. I appreciate having candid discussions with the
pediatricians, FPs and DOs amongst us and haven't a problem with calling
them by their first name either.

My pet peeve is when posters don't change the subject or don't sign their
posts with a name, what they are, and where they are from. I don't get
hung up on titles though. I'm also thankful for the moderation by our
listmothers. I'm on other lists where there is no moderation and have to
say this is my favorite one-thanks Kathleen's A.and B.
